Manufacturing Insights Workshop

Manufacturing Insights is an initiative of the Strategic Industries Division, in cooperation with the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Business Service Network(CNLBSN) and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters(CME). Its objective is to promote the importance of the manufacturing sector within Newfoundland and Labrador by highlighting the regional opportunities and successes within the manufacturing sector, raise awareness of resources available to assist the sector, and promote collaboration and co-operation amongst stakeholder groups.

The half-day workshop involves presentations by provincial, federal and not for profit agencies, are tailored to individuals interested in learning about what resources are available to assist with starting or growing a small scale manufacturing enterprise in the province.

Sessions have been held throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, and have received very positive feedback from the participants: "Excellent presentations, very enjoyable and pertinent" and "All of the information was excellent (I am) in the process of buying a business and most of my questions were answered".
