Information and Networking Sessions
- Have you ever considered selling your goods or services to the public sector?
- Have you wondered whether the public sector purchases the types of products or services that your business offers?
- Have you asked yourself, "How do I access supply opportunities with larger private sector firms?"
The Department offers informative and interactive information and networking sessions to promote awareness of bidding opportunities and purchasing practices within the public and private sectors and to facilitate networking between the local business community and purchasing representatives. These sessions are conducted in collaboration with government departments and agencies, crown corporations, health boards, educational institutions, municipalities, the federal government, industry associations and large companies.
These sessions help business representatives:
- Market their goods and services
- Access bidding opportunities
- Register products and services on available source lists
- Keep up to date on purchasing practices
- Enhance their understanding of the purchasing process
- Talk to participants to identify other networking opportunities
