The Department offers informative and interactive information and networking sessions to promote awareness of bidding opportunities and purchasing practices within the public and private sectors and to facilitate networking between the local business community and purchasing representatives. These sessions are conducted in collaboration with government departments and agencies, crown corporations, health boards, educational institutions, municipalities, the federal government, industry associations and large companies.
