Information for Interns

Eligible interns are those who are:

Between 18 – 35 years of age
Recent graduates of a recognized post-secondary institution
Unemployed or underemployed
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Trained or experienced in international trade, exporting, and/or related fields, such as international Accounting or Finance

We are not currently accepting applications for this program. For information on the next offering of the program, please email internship@gov.nl.ca.

Step 1	Review the job descriptions (see participating companies below) to determine which one/s you would like to apply for.
Step 2	Review the FAQ section for some valuable advice.
Step 3	Complete the Intern Application and Declaration Form (doc) and forward it, along with your cover letter and resume, to the contact below. Do not contact the companies directly!
Step 4	Eligible applications are forwarded to the companies for review.
Step 5	Applicants are notified of their status and arrangements made for an interview, if applicable.

Companies reserve the right to recruit interns directly. Therefore, only those participating companies that are hyperlinked below have positions available.
Interns will work with participating companies, NOT the government.
Cover letters should be specifically tailored to each company, NOT the program
All documentation as outlined in the application process above are required.
Generic and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applications will continue to be accepted until all positions are filled.
