Americas Food & Beverage Show
Miami, November 14-15

The Atlantic Food and Beverage Processors Association is hosting, for the fourth time, an Atlantic Canada pavilion at the Americas Food & Beverage Show in Miami. The association has reserved eighteen booths in a very strategic location at the entrance to the show.

The Americas Food & Beverage Show is an excellent opportunity for Atlantic Canadian companies to develop the exciting and growing Latin American market. It is the largest two-way food show in the Western hemisphere with 450 booths. It draws about 6,000 buyers many of whom come to Miami from the Caribbean and Latin America and the Southeastern United States. The show is at the heart of very exciting trillion dollar plus food markets in the Southeastern United States, the Caribbean and Latin America. The market is accessible to food producers in Atlantic Canada via land and sea routes down the coast. It is a significant current market with huge potential for growth.

The Atlantic Food and Beverage Processors Association, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Canadian Consulate will be specifically targeting buyers from Brazil and will be assisting them in coming to the show. In addition, the United States' Department of Agriculture works to bring in buyers from the whole region. Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada will again this year be providing a chef and chef’s station to help showcase products and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Canadian Consulate will again be supporting the event by providing critical on-site promotion support.

There are still a few spots left in the pavilion. Registration will be held open until all the spaces are full. For information or to register, please feel free to contact Tonya Norman (709) 729-3641 or Don Newman with the Atlantic Food and Beverage Processors Association at (506) 389-7892.
