Innovation, Business and Rural Development
A new Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development has been established.
Most of the programs of the old Department of Business will be merged into the new department, along with all the current programs of the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development.
Our website will be changing to reflect the responsibilities for the new department.
The Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development supports regional development and economic diversification. Our lines of business are small and medium-sized enterprise development, industrial diversification, innovation, investment and economic intelligence. We have 23 offices throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
